  • 3-5+ years of experience in a sous chef or senior kitchen leadership role
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of culinary techniques kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • ability to work in a high-volume fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • experience with inventory systems and cost control practices

Job Duties

  • assist the executive chef in overseeing all kitchen operations including prep service and sanitation
  • lead train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high performance and morale
  • ensure consistent food quality presentation and adherence to recipes and standards
  • manage inventory ordering and cost control to meet budget targets
  • maintain compliance with local health and safety regulations
  • oversee scheduling and labor management to optimize efficiency
  • step in as acting executive chef when needed
  • collaborate on menu development seasonal offerings and specials
  • monitor kitchen cleanliness and organization at all times
