The role being offered is that of a supporting executive chef position within CCL Hospitality Group, classified under pay grade 13 with a salary range of $69,000 to $72,000. This position is critical to the smooth operation of kitchen activities, ensuring the maintenance of a safe and sanitary environment for all staff. The supporting executive chef will assist the executive chef by overseeing meal preparation in accordance with corporate standards and guidelines. This role requires a creative individual who can maintain high-quality food preparation while keeping costs effective. The successful candidate will be involved in various phases such as planning, ordering, inventory management, and food preparation, all aimed at maintaining the highest operational standards.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology, Management or related field
- or Associate degree in Culinary Arts with additional specialized training
- 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience
- Proficiency in various kitchen stations
- Ability to think quickly and creatively
- Knowledge of food cost management
- Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office and communication tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management or related field, or A.O.S. degree in Culinary Arts with additional specialized training
- 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience
- Mastery of a wide variety of kitchen positions and stations
- Ability to think on their feet, create, produce, and serve on the fly
- Knowledge of food cost and how it pertains to a kitchen, product and quality identification
- Experienced with computers including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, E-mail and Internet
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and oral/written communication skills
Job Duties
- Ensure that high quality food items are creatively prepared and presented in a cost effective manner
- Assist in all phases of planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation
- Support the management of cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams
- Supervise co-workers to ensure cleanliness, organization, and overall sanitation of the kitchen
- Motivate, train, develop, and direct back of house employees preparing and cooking foods
- Perform other duties as assigned
