Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently or constantly
  • Ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning
  • Physical ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach
  • Ability to work quickly and agilely in emergency situations
  • Capacity to work under variable temperature and noise conditions
  • Must possess good communication skills in English
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various responsibilities simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • At least 4-5 years of progressive experience in culinary and food & beverage, preferably with supervisory experience
  • Relevant college coursework preferred
  • Fully experienced in the use of various kitchen equipment
  • Proficient with computers and relevant kitchen software
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels while maintaining attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working long hours as required

Job Duties

  • Work with sous chefs, cooks, trainees and support staff to deliver the Executive Chef's vision
  • Help hire, train and develop kitchen staff to produce excellent food for all outlets including banquet areas
  • Create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and engagement among staff
  • Ensure all kitchen staff follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Oversee ordering, receiving, and storing of kitchen supplies to maintain smooth operations
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively and support the team by working the line as needed
  • Act as Manager on Duty when requested, demonstrating leadership and decision-making abilities
