Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Several years of experience in professional kitchen environments
- Experience in a leadership role within culinary or stewarding operations
- Ability to obtain necessary food safety certifications
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Support senior leadership by developing and assuming key management responsibilities
- Assume the role of liaison between all departments within the culinary division including stewarding and all other hotel departments
- Supervise the performance of the Sous Chefs and provide them counsel as to the preparation and cooking of various food items
- Supervise the performance of the Stewarding Supervisors and provide them counsel as to the proper execution of the stewarding team's responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative menu items that adhere to Hyatt brand standards
- Ensure proper management of all stewarding inventory and storage
- Plan, coordinate and implement special events and holiday functions
- Manage hourly kitchen and stewarding employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating and hiring
- Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results
- Monitor food production, ordering, cost, and quality and consistency on a daily basis ensuring financial performance and control
- Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen and stewarding facilities and equipment
- Organize and facilitate departmental meetings, training and goals setting
