Job Requirements

  • Experience in a brigade-style kitchen
  • Proficient knife skills on par with a knife as an extension of one’s arm
  • Experience maintaining logs, ordering, delegation, safe practices, HACCP, punctuality, mise en place, managing multiple employees, and problem-solving
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Strong desire and dedication to learn if missing any required skills

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen operations and supervise culinary staff
  • Execute refined culinary techniques and oversee menu preparation
  • Manage whole animal butchery, seasonal preservation, and in-house baking and pastry
  • Source seasonal ingredients from local farms and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP
  • Motivate the team to maintain an efficient and enjoyable work environment
  • Stand in for the Executive Chef when required
