Job Requirements
- 4 plus years kitchen management experience
- 5 plus years cooking experience
- College degree or certification in culinary field or hospitality field preferred
- Good working knowledge of sanitation standards and proper preparation and presentation of food and beverage
- Ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
- Proven ability to effectively lead and train a diverse workforce
- Willingness to set a high standard in the kitchen through leading by example
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work extended hours when business necessitates in humid and or extreme temperatures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of kitchen management experience
- At least 5 years of professional cooking experience
- College degree or certification in culinary arts or hospitality management preferred
- Strong knowledge of food sanitation standards and proper food preparation techniques
- Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse culinary team
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members
- Demonstrated capability to innovate and maintain high culinary standards
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments
Job Duties
- Oversee all culinary operations across multiple hotel outlets
- Lead menu innovation and development that reflects creativity and quality
- Maintain the highest standards of food preparation and presentation
- Inspire, lead, and train kitchen teams to deliver exceptional culinary experiences
- Collaborate with management to understand and achieve financial goals
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and health regulations
- Manage kitchen workflow to maintain efficiency during extended hours and high-volume service periods
