Established globally with more than 100 award-winning properties, The Ritz-Carlton sets the standard for refined hospitality and service excellence. The Ritz-Carlton Ladies and Gentlemen are renowned for their dedication to creating lifelong memories for guests by providing thoughtful, creative, and compassionate service. Marriott International, a global leader in the hospitality industry, supports The Ritz-Carlton's mission through a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity employment, fostering a rich blend of talent and cultures among its associates.

This non-management role offers a competitive hourly wage of $31.20 and involves direct interaction with guests and internal teams to manage reservation requests with precision and professionalism.

The Reservations Agent plays a vital role in ensuring seamless guest experiences from the moment of inquiry to the fulfillment of their stay. This position involves processing all reservation requests received via phone, fax, or mail, handling changes and cancellations with keen attention to detail. The agent is responsible for identifying guest needs, determining the appropriate room types, and verifying availability and rates accurately. Clear communication is paramount, as the Reservations Agent explains guarantee policies, special rates, and cancellation terms to callers while documenting special requests and providing comprehensive information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and accommodations.

To maximize revenue, the agent applies effective sales techniques and maintains accuracy in room blocks and group reservations, collaborating with relevant departments to resolve any challenges. The role also includes meticulous handling of billing accounts in accordance with accounting policies and ensuring all reservation data is entered and accessed correctly within the reservation system.

Beyond operational duties, the Reservations Agent embodies The Ritz-Carlton’s Gold Standards – a foundational set of values including the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values that promote gracious and thoughtful guest service. This role demands a professional appearance and demeanor, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies. The agent fosters positive working relationships, supports team goals, and complies with quality assurance standards to uphold the brand’s reputation for luxury hospitality.

This opportunity suits candidates who have at least one year of related work experience and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. The position offers a unique chance to work within an esteemed global team, gain invaluable hospitality experience, and contribute to a brand known worldwide for its exceptional service and luxury standards. Joining The Ritz-Carlton means not only providing remarkable guest service but also belonging to a supportive environment where associates are empowered to grow and succeed.
