Job Description
Procter & Gamble (P&G) is a globally recognized consumer goods corporation known for its commitment to quality and innovation in the marketplace. With a vast portfolio of trusted brands, P&G serves millions of customers worldwide and operates at the forefront of corporate responsibility and workplace culture. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, the company fosters an inclusive environment that embraces diversity and values the unique perspectives and contributions of all its employees. P&G provides numerous opportunities for professional growth and development, supported by a strong foundation of corporate ethics and social responsibility.
This opportunity is a full-time role for an experienced Executive Protection Specialist situated in Cincinnati. The role demands a seasoned professional to provide driving, logistic, and protective services under the direction of senior management. The position primarily supports senior executives of the company as well as members of the Board of Directors and select dignitaries or VIP guests as designated. Responsibilities extend beyond protective services and driving duties to include planning and coordination for visits by dignitaries such as CEOs of other organizations, political leaders, heads of state, and major account customers. As such, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the security and safety of key personnel during corporate events, facility visits, and transportation both on domestic and international fronts.
The Executive Protection Specialist works independently without micro-management, making high-stakes decisions that involve assessing and mitigating risks to protected individuals. The position requires a meticulous and proactive approach to security, including participation in personal protection programs, corporate facility security, residence and vacation home security, and event safety operations. Selected candidates will be expected to coordinate transportation logistics using ground and air conveyances and manage security protocols aligned with company standards.
Travel is an essential aspect of this role, with duties necessitating availability for domestic and international trips, sometimes occurring on weekends and holidays. The executive protection specialist will be responsible for the safety measures involving corporate aircraft, ensuring the protection of the aircraft during various phases, including transit and parking at different locations globally. Interaction with senior executives at P&G and global security managers is integral, demanding exceptional interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships and deliver outstanding customer service.
Candidates for this position are required to have advanced knowledge and skills in executive protection systems, emergency medical response, risk identification, and mitigation strategies. The role demands a detail-oriented individual who can maintain focus and act quickly under pressure to minimize potential risk exposure. The successful candidate must also possess advanced driving skills, with defensive driving certification preferred, and the physical capability to assist in emergency evacuations if necessary.
Compensation for the role ranges from $85,000 to $122,200 annually, reflecting consideration of various factors such as experience, credentials, and geographic location. P&G is committed to equal employment opportunities and values diversity in its workforce. The company does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role and expects candidates to be eligible for relevant travel documents such as passports and visas. P&G also participates in e-verify as required by law, and reasonable accommodations are made available for individuals with disabilities throughout the application and employment process.
