Our client is a high-profile family based in Century City, seeking to add a highly skilled and discreet personal assistant to their team. The principal to be supported is Mrs., a mother, accomplished filmmaker, and foundation leader, alongside her busy executive partner. This newly-created role is tailored specifically to support Mrs., ensuring her day-to-day activities and professional undertakings run smoothly while maintaining the utmost discretion and professionalism.
The position is anchored in the Century City office but requires travel for up to six months per year, with individual trips lasting no longer than two weeks each. The assistant will play a critical part in managing Mrs.' complex calendar, scheduling personal appointments, and organizing extensive travel logistics. This coordination will involve close collaboration with Mr.'s office staff, the household management team, and security personnel, highlighting the importance of a well-organized, structured approach to the role.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the inflow of communications—emails, texts, invitations, and phone calls—ensuring timely and appropriate responses. The role also encompasses thoughtful gift selection and managing Mrs.' needs during on-location shoots, such as packing, sourcing meals, and managing vendor relations and tipping. Excellent tech skills, refined administrative capabilities, and polished communication—both written and verbal—are essential for success in this position.
Candidates must be highly organized, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality in all affairs related to the family and their activities. Due to the sensitivity of the role, significant security checks will be conducted, and preference will be given to applicants with a strong, verifiable employment history and a commitment to longevity in this role.
The schedule primarily follows a Monday through Friday, standard business hours pattern but requires flexibility to accommodate up to 50 percent travel as dictated by various personal and professional commitments. Compensation for this elite role ranges from $175,000 to $225,000 annually, plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package that is fully employer-paid, including paid time off.
