The Executive Pastry Chef role based in Miami, FL, represents a pivotal leadership position within DO & CO's culinary team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 annually and is designed for an experienced, energetic, and creative pastry professional. The Executive Pastry Chef will oversee day-to-day pastry operations, manage and develop the pastry team, and ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards. Responsibilities include executing food service with precision in quality, technique, portion control, presentation, and cost management, as well as maintaining high culinary excellence standards. The role also involves standardizing recipes to ensure consistency, controlling inventory to prevent shortages or discrepancies, and supporting management in catering proposals, menu pricing, and innovation initiatives.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high volume food service or food manufacturing production with experience/exposure to leadership roles
- Knowledge of hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP) and general food safety standards
- Ability to manage and motivate a pastry team
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to various tasks
