We are currently seeking a strong and inspiring Pastry Department Leader to join our vibrant and enthusiastic pastry team. This role is pivotal in managing the day-to-day pastry operations, guiding a dedicated team of pastry chefs, and ensuring the highest standards of pastry and baking excellence are consistently maintained. As the Pastry Leader, you will take charge of staff management including training, scheduling, and inventory control, while working closely with leadership teams and other departments to elevate the guest experience. Your passion for pastry arts combined with your leadership capabilities will contribute to our culinary success and support private events that uphold the hotel’s prestigious reputation.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually. You will oversee the quality and consistency of all pastry products and help innovate new creations reflecting current culinary trends and guest preferences. A key part of your responsibility will be to conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure every pastry item meets stringent standards. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4-5 years in a leadership role within the pastry department of a highly regarded hotel or comparable establishment
  • Possess extensive technical expertise in pastry arts with a strong understanding of current culinary trends and innovations
  • An open and flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must have valid US work authorization
