As part of a larger hospitality group, the hotel prides itself on providing not just a stay but a memorable event experience, emphasizing personalized service, elegant facilities, and outstanding customer care. This establishment is deeply rooted in a culture of integrity, teamwork, and continuous development, supporting employees' growth along well-defined career paths. This environment fosters a blend of tradition and forward-thinking strategies to maintain its leadership position in the luxury market.

The position available is for a Group Sales Manager focused on small group meetings and room sales, typically handling groups under 20 rooms per night with associated meeting space. The role offers an annual salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 and entails a broad spectrum of responsibilities designed to maximize the hotel's revenue and reputation in the competitive hospitality industry. This is a full-time position that reports directly into the Director of Group Sales and contributes significantly to meeting and exceeding the hotel’s revenue goals. The successful candidate will be instrumental in planning, soliciting, booking, and coordinating small group meetings while ensuring seamless service across multiple departments.

The Group Sales Manager’s duties include managing all phases of small meetings such as contracts, rooming lists, and billing, as well as handling VIPs and upgrades with attention to detail and professionalism. Selling all facets of the hotel, maintaining client relationships, and supporting strategic planning for the Sales and Catering department form critical components of the role. The professional will also work collaboratively with catering and banquet teams to ensure the highest standards of service during events.

This role requires not only excellent sales abilities but also strong organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively manage outside sales calls, conduct site inspections, negotiate contracts, and respond to client inquiries. Emphasis is placed on promoting the hotel’s unique services, customizing guest experiences, and contributing to long-term operational and financial goals. It also involves supporting the broader Sales and Catering department’s strategic initiatives, making this role a pivotal part of the hotel’s growth and market positioning.

Candidates will find a dynamic work environment where they will contribute to a vibrant service culture that values people, excellence, and nimbleness. The company provides extensive benefits including health insurance options, paid time off, 401k matching, and professional development opportunities, promoting both personal well-being and career advancement.
