Job Description

Renaissance Hotels is a globally recognized brand within the hospitality industry, known for delivering luxury experiences that combine modern design and innovative service to create memorable stays for guests. As part of the Marriott International family, Renaissance Hotels emphasize distinct and vibrant environments that inspire travelers through authentic local touches and exceptional service standards. With locations worldwide, the brand continually strives to maintain its position in the upscale market segment by offering sophisticated accommodations and event spaces that cater to both business and leisure travelers.

The Executive Meeting Manager role at Renaissance Hotels plays a pivotal part in reinforcing the brand's commitment to excellence by managing high-level meetings, conferences, and corporate events. This position directly influences the overall guest experience by ensuring that every function is executed flawlessly from inception through completion. Highly detail-oriented, the Executive Meeting Manager is responsible for comprehensive planning, booking, and coordination efforts that align with the brand’s goal of delivering inspiring and sophisticated encounters.

In this role, the successful candidate will engage with executive-level clients, developing strong client relationships and working hand-in-hand to create custom banquet functions that meet specific needs. A solid understanding of the hospitality market—including pricing strategies, banquet and food and beverage revenue generation, yield management, and competitive market analysis—is essential. The Executive Meeting Manager must balance innovative marketing techniques with practical knowledge of hotel capabilities and sales procedures to optimize event performance and revenue outcomes.

A significant focus of the position is on sales, requiring personal client interaction such as sales calls, site tours, and networking through local and industry events. Mastery in upselling will help improve overall property revenue, while maintaining meticulous records of client communications and event specifics ensures accountability and client satisfaction. The incumbent will also participate in implementing the annual marketing plan and contribute to achieving or exceeding both individual and team sales goals. Familiarity with rooms merchandising strategies and financial controls is important to deliver maximum profitability.

Professionalism and problem-solving skills are crucial, especially in managing guest requests and resolving complaints in a prompt and courteous manner. The Executive Meeting Manager is expected to be proficient in various office and sales software to facilitate accurate and efficient operations.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to be part of a well-established hospitality brand that values innovation, client service, and career growth in a dynamic work environment. It is ideal for candidates with robust sales experience, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for creating exceptional event experiences that reflect Renaissance Hotels’ dedication to quality and guest satisfaction.
