Job Description
Aramark is a leading global provider of food, facilities, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests every day across 15 countries. With a strong commitment rooted in service and driven by a united purpose, Aramark strives to do great things for employees, partners, communities, and the environment. The company fosters an inclusive and diverse work environment where every employee is treated with equal opportunity and respect, irrespective of race, color, religion, gender, age, and other protected characteristics.
The organization is dedicated to helping employees develop their talents, fuel their passions, and empower professional growth. Whether an individual is seeking a new challenge, a sense of belonging, or a place to thrive professionally, Aramark supports their journey towards reaching full potential, making it an attractive employer for those seeking a career in the food and facilities service industry.
Within this dynamic setting, the Executive Meeting Manager role at Aramark offers a compelling opportunity to contribute to the company’s success by focusing on sales growth and client relationship management. This position is based in a vibrant location featuring a hotel with 940 finely-appointed guest rooms and suites that provide an amenity-rich retreat with modern conveniences to enhance every guest experience. The property also includes a world-class conference center offering over 75,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, ideal for hosting diverse corporate and social functions.
The Executive Meeting Manager is primarily responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales plans by securing new client appointments and maintaining a robust sales pipeline through continuous prospecting and relationship-building efforts. This role involves pre-appointment client intelligence gathering and the crafting of tailored programs to meet specific client needs, thus driving higher close rates. Responsibilities include negotiating pricing, product, and equipment options while coordinating important program demonstrations.
Key to this role is the ability to meet or exceed sales revenue targets by developing and executing a territory-specific growth plan. The Executive Meeting Manager will engage in targeted sales strategies such as telemarketing, drop-offs, cold calling, and other proactive selling techniques to generate new business leads. Maintaining accurate and timely updates to the sales software database as guided by Sales Management is also essential.
Preparation plays a critical part in the sales process, with the manager expected to conduct thorough client research, customize sales materials, and leverage available resources before client meetings. They will carry out initial appointments and subsequent follow-ups necessary to close sales successfully while ensuring client timelines and deliverables are met through close coordination with client partners during installation phases.
Working at Aramark means embracing change and continuous improvement as job duties may evolve to meet business needs, highlighting a dynamic work culture that encourages flexibility and determination. If you have a passion for sales, a consultative approach, and a drive to contribute to a renowned global company, this Executive Meeting Manager role provides a rewarding career path with ample opportunity for professional development and success in the hospitality and event management industry.
