The Executive Meeting Manager role at Limelight Hotels is pivotal in driving the hotel's success by managing group sales and event planning processes. This full-time position offers a salary range of $59,000 to $65,000 plus a sales incentive plan, with actual pay dependent on budget and experience. The role reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and is designed for a highly organized, client-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities include managing the entire sales cycle for group bookings of 10 to 25 rooms, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up, ensuring a flawless execution of events and exceptional client experience. The Executive Meeting Manager develops and implements sales strategies aimed at growing revenue both through guestrooms and catered events. This role requires strong coordination skills to manage event logistics, client communications, and internal team collaboration, including onsite support during events. Familiarity with tools such as Delphi/Amadeus and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary to track sales activity, manage event records, and support revenue forecasting. Additionally, the position demands a keen attention to detail when preparing proposals, contracts, Banquet Event Orders, and managing billing alongside accounting departments. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage the complete sales and event planning process for group bookings including inquiry handling, proposal development, contract execution, event coordination, onsite support, and post-event follow-up
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive top-line revenue growth for guestrooms, catered events, and group business
  • Respond promptly and professionally to group booking inquiries, confirming event details and client requirements
  • Coordinate all event logistics including menus, room setups, audiovisual requirements, staffing, and operational details
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and hotel departments to ensure group and catering needs are executed as contracted
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction
  • Conduct site tours and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, professional associations, and key accounts
  • Attend and participate in sales, BEO, and departmental meetings to communicate event details and updates
  • Utilize Delphi/Amadeus and other systems to track sales activity, manage event records, and support forecasting and revenue tracking
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and proofing of Banquet Event Orders to ensure accuracy
  • Review banquet checks and coordinate with accounting and operations to ensure timely billing and final invoices
  • Follow up with clients after events to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and secure future business
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, organization, and service quality
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
