Known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, Crescent Hotels & Resorts consistently elevates the standards of service within the hospitality sector. With a focus on creating memorable stays for every guest, the company integrates luxury with personalized service across all its venues worldwide. As a full-service hospitality company, Crescent Hotels & Resorts thrives on delivering warm and welcoming environments that reflect the unique culture and charm of each location they operate in, making them a preferred choice for both business and leisure travelers.
The role of the Event Manager at Crescent Hotels & Resorts is a pivotal position that requires a dynamic professional to oversee and execute flawless corporate meetings and events, particularly those involving 15 or fewer guestrooms. This position demands a strategic leader who serves as the primary liaison between clients and the hotel staff, ensuring seamless communication and meticulous attention to detail from initial planning through to event execution. The Event Manager will be responsible for crafting detailed event plans, managing timelines, and preparing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to deliver exceptional event services that meet or exceed client expectations.
This opportunity offers a unique blend of operational leadership and creative client relationship management, requiring the individual to build and foster long-term client partnerships that help drive repeat business and referrals. Handling VIP clients and sensitive situations with utmost professionalism and discretion is a key aspect of the role, enhancing Crescent Hotels & Resorts' reputation for personalized and attentive service. Additionally, this position involves maximizing revenue through smart upselling strategies related to food, beverage, audiovisual services, and other event enhancements, as well as supporting financial oversight, including contract review and invoice accuracy.
Collaboration is at the heart of this role, working closely with teams across Sales, Banquets, Culinary, Front Office, and Engineering to ensure that every event is executed flawlessly while adhering to brand standards, safety regulations, and hotel policies. An essential part of the Event Manager's responsibilities is leading internal meetings to coordinate all event-related details clearly and effectively, guaranteeing a unified approach to event delivery.
The environment is fast-paced and high-touch, combining office-based planning with on-site event management, requiring flexibility, dedication, and physical stamina. The Event Manager is an ambassador of Crescent Hotels & Resorts' commitment to warm hospitality, consistently aiming to provide guests with elevated and memorable experiences. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for event management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, guest-focused atmosphere.
