Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in hotel sales, event management, or related hospitality field
  • strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems such as Opera and CI/TY
  • ability to build meaningful client relationships and drive repeat business
  • flexible schedule including availability evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • demonstrated alignment with Hotel Drover's core values

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, business, or related field preferred
  • experience in full-service or luxury hotel environments preferred
  • experience handling high-profile clients and complex logistics preferred
  • familiarity with Fort Worth market and DFW region preferred

Job Duties

  • Proactively solicit, negotiate, and book corporate and social group business within a short-term booking window
  • develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, local organizations, and industry partners
  • manage all aspects of group bookings including room blocks, event detailing, contracts, and billing coordination
  • create customized, on-brand proposals and presentations
  • conduct site tours and sales presentations
  • collaborate with operations, catering, and events teams to ensure seamless execution
  • monitor and achieve sales goals and revenue targets
