Job Description

Hotel Drover is a distinguished luxury lifestyle hotel located in the vibrant Fort Worth, Texas area, known for its unique blend of modern sophistication and rich Western heritage. As part of a collection of select properties, Hotel Drover prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences characterized by personalized service, attention to detail, and commitment to quality. The hotel serves a diverse clientele, including business travelers, event planners, and leisure guests, offering a range of amenities that underscore its position as a premier destination in the DFW region. With a focus on cultivating genuine relationships and community engagement, Hotel Drover stands out as a place where tradition meets innovative hospitality, catering to those who seek both comfort and authenticity during their stay.

The Executive Meeting Manager at Hotel Drover plays a pivotal role in sustaining and growing the hotel's reputation as a best-in-class venue for meetings and events. This position is focused on driving short-term group and event business, typically booking within a 45-day window, which demands agility and proactive sales strategies. The Executive Meeting Manager is responsible for the entire lifecycle of group events—from the initial inquiry through to successful execution—with an emphasis on delivering experiences that are both on-brand and reflective of Hotel Drover's high standards. This role requires not only sales proficiency but also exceptional project management skills and cross-departmental collaboration to ensure every event is seamlessly coordinated.

Key responsibilities include proactively soliciting and negotiating corporate and social group bookings, managing room blocks, preparing contracts, and detailed event coordination. The role also involves creating customized proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the hotel's unique value proposition while addressing the client’s vision. Conducting site tours and working closely with internal teams such as catering and operations are integral, ensuring that every aspect of the event meets or exceeds expectations. This position requires strong relationship-building capabilities to cultivate key accounts and local partnerships, enhancing market share and visibility within the competitive hospitality landscape.

The Executive Meeting Manager must consistently monitor and achieve sales goals, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue targets and activity metrics. Managing sales systems such as Opera and CI/TY for tracking leads and contracts ensures operational efficiency and client communication accuracy. Participation in strategic initiatives such as sales blitzes, trade shows, and revenue meetings further supports the hotel’s overall success. Aligned with the hotel’s core values—"Hit the Mark, Every Time," "Spark Warmth," "Blaze New Trails," and others—this role demands a professional with a customer-focused mindset who excels at delivering what they promise with integrity and passion.

Physical requirements for the role include the ability to move around the property for extended periods, lift and carry items up to 25 pounds during site tours and event setups, and regular use of office technology. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where no two days are alike, providing opportunities to drive meaningful impact on both the guest experience and the hotel's business growth. Candidates must be comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet client needs promptly. Overall, the Executive Meeting Manager position at Hotel Drover is ideal for a motivated hospitality professional eager to make a visible difference in a luxury hotel setting while advancing their career in event management and sales.
