Job Requirements
- Must have bachelor's or associate degree in hospitality, restaurant management, culinary arts or equivalent experience
- minimum 3-5 years experience in restaurant management
- demonstrated leadership ability
- strong culinary skills
- record of maintaining high standards in cleanliness and food quality
- proficient in MS Office and Google Docs
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- customer service focus
- ability to delegate tasks
- ability to work in fast-paced, high stress environment
- flexible schedule
- current Food Safety Manager certification
- able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- able to stand and walk for long periods
- able to work in hot kitchen environment
- available to occasionally work nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's or associate degree in hospitality, restaurant management, culinary arts, or equivalent education and experience
- 3-5 years of restaurant management experience preferably in full-service restaurants
- demonstrated leadership skills in coaching and team motivation
- strong culinary skills with a commitment to continued development
- proven track record in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and guest satisfaction
- proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs
- excellent communication skills with a positive, customer service-oriented attitude
- ability to multitask and delegate
- flexible schedule availability
- current Food Safety Manager certification
Job Duties
- Managing team member relations through coaching and mentoring
- enforcing adherence to company policies and procedures
- providing regular performance feedback and managing terminations
- overseeing new hire and payroll documentation
- ensuring compliance with payroll policies including bi-weekly payroll processing
- managing recruitment and interview scheduling
- leading management meetings and daily team briefings
- reporting and managing team member injuries and safety training
- enforcing COVID-19 safety protocols
- managing operational budgets and financial performance
- creating labor schedules and managing payroll expenses
- controlling food, beverage, and operational expenses including ordering
- resolving guest complaints
- maintaining safety and cleanliness standards
- overseeing quality control of food preparation and presentation
- planning and managing limited time offer food production
- supervising restaurant opening and closing
- following up on third-party food safety audits and training
- managing inventory and expense reports
- handling catering orders and point of sale system functions
- managing injury reporting protocols and invoice submissions
- performing related duties as assigned
