We are excited to announce an outstanding career opportunity as the opening Executive Housekeeping Manager for the new Tru by Hilton hotel in Laredo, Texas. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping and laundry operations to maintain immaculate cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of guest rooms, public spaces, and other hotel areas. Your mission will be to uphold Texas Western Hospitality's commitment to high-quality service and guest satisfaction by ensuring operational excellence and staff efficiency.
As the Executive Housekeeping Manager, your role is central to the hotel's reputation and success. You will recruit, hire, train, and provide ongoing career development opportunities for housekeeping staff. Conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback will be crucial aspects of your responsibilities to maintain a motivated and competent team. You will implement inspection systems to guarantee that cleaning procedures meet company standards and that services are delivered efficiently and promptly.
Supervising daily housekeeping activities, ensuring adherence to rigorous cleaning schedules, and managing room inspections, including deep cleaning protocols, will be part of your regular duties. You will coordinate staff work schedules according to hotel occupancy forecasts, monitor compliance with these schedules, and address guest concerns related to housekeeping services swiftly and effectively.
Additionally, you will play a significant role in departmental budgeting by overseeing inventory and controlling costs related to linen and cleaning supplies. You will prepare detailed reports on room occupancy, payroll, department expenses, and inventory management to share with other department heads, ensuring smooth operational communication.
Texas Western Hospitality values safety and compliance; therefore, you will ensure that hotel housekeeping operations adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and health laws. Taking on the role of Manager on Duty when necessary supports the broader management team and provides additional leadership presence on-site.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality management
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong attention to detail
- excellent interpersonal skills
- knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory requirements
- physical ability to perform housekeeping duties as needed
