Job Description

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is a globally recognized hospitality company with a rich history spanning over 100 years. As a family-owned business, Delaware North has become synonymous with delivering exceptional guest experiences across a diverse portfolio that includes iconic sports arenas, national parks, casinos, restaurants, hotels, and retail operations. Their commitment to creating great times in great places is evident in every aspect of their operations, and they pride themselves on fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where team members can thrive both personally and professionally.

At Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, a prestigious 4-diamond resort located near the south entrance to Yosemite National Park in Fish Camp, California, Delaware North invites an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join their dynamic team. Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty including majestic granite peaks and towering trees, Tenaya Lodge offers guests a memorable hospitality experience deeply connected to the outdoors. The resort also features Waybound, a collection of modern cabins and cottages providing guests with a private retreat-style stay while maintaining access to the resort's extensive amenities. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in one of California’s most iconic destinations and alongside a passionate team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The Executive Housekeeper at Tenaya Lodge will be responsible for leading and managing the housekeeping team to ensure the entire resort is immaculately clean, sanitized, and prepared for guests. This fast-paced position demands strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail. You will oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management, ensuring that your team operates efficiently and meets rigorous cleanliness standards. Additionally, you will manage inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment, control expenses and payroll, and complete all required reports and projects. Acting as a hands-on leader, you will regularly conduct housekeeping inspections and implement corrective measures as necessary to maintain the highest quality standards.

The position requires someone who is at least 21 years old with a minimum of five years managing a team in a related environment. Although a degree is not required, the ideal candidate must possess practical knowledge of cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals, including the proper usage of Material Safety Data Sheets. A valid driver’s license is essential as you may be required to operate company vehicles across the property. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Working at Tenaya Lodge offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan with up to 4% company match; annual performance bonuses tied to individual and company success; paid vacation and holidays; paid parental leave; tuition and professional certification reimbursement; and generous friends-and-family discounts across Delaware North properties. Relocation assistance and temporary housing are also available, demonstrating the company’s commitment to supporting new hires as they transition into this exciting role.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and experienced hospitality professional seeking career growth in a beautiful setting. Delaware North values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer that embraces all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or other protected categories. Join Delaware North and Tenaya Lodge to be part of a global legacy where your contributions will help shape the future of hospitality while working in a setting that feels like home.
