The Executive Housekeeper role at Tenaya Lodge presents an exciting leadership opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional passionate about housekeeping operations. The Executive Housekeeper will lead and manage a dedicated housekeeping team to ensure the entire resort is impeccably clean, sanitized, and guest-ready at all times. This fast-paced position involves oversight of team hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and efficient resource management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience managing teams, knowledge of cleaning equipment and solvents, and the ability to enforce high standards in housekeeping inspections. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to operate cleaning machinery, and a valid driver's license for property vehicle operation.
The role offers a competitive annual base salary ranging from $70,304 to $88,400, plus an annual bonus tied to company and individual performance or an uncapped sales incentive plan. - Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solvents
- Knowledge of how to use Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents

- Must possess a valid driver’s license

Job Duties
- Lead and manage a team of housekeepers including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management and evaluation
- Maintain an inventory of supplies, order and distribute supplies and equipment
- Ensure that all reports, orders, and projects are completed
- Monitor and control expenses and payroll while ensuring proper resources are in place
- Conduct housekeeping inspections and take corrective action as needed
- Ability to drive company vehicles throughout the property
