We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $72,000 to $75,000 per year and represents a vital link in ensuring the highest quality standards for our guests. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations in accordance with established guest service protocols, quality standards, and sustainability practices, specifically our EarthView program. This role offers the potential for career advancement, with clear pathways to Area Executive Housekeeper, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager positions.

In this position, you will lead the housekeeping team by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting associates to ensure consistent adherence to brand and hotel standards aligned with our core organizational values. You will monitor cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel grounds while addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly to uphold superior service levels. Regular performance evaluations and staff oversight will be key responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency and policy compliance.

The role also entails inventory management, scheduling based on occupancy trends, preparing necessary departmental paperwork, and driving improvements based on guest service scores. Your leadership will extend to developing and implementing policies and procedures that support departmental and hotel operational goals. Additionally, adherence to occupational safety and health standards, including the use of protective equipment and participation in safety committees, is essential.

This position demands physical activity such as standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and other movements needed for the role. Job Duties

  • Interview select train schedule coach and support associates ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values
  • Inspect guest rooms public areas and grounds for cleanliness appearance and safety
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services and resolve guests complaints and concerns
  • Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Prepare schedules based upon occupancy and assign duties to workers and schedule shifts or notify vendor of weekly staffing needs
  • Take inventory and submit periodic inventory orders to insure supplies are purchased in a timely manner
  • Prepare required paperwork pertaining to departmental functions
