Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in all aspects of housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff including hiring recommendations, terminations, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, training and development
- Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy and assign daily boards to housekeeping team members
- Manage contract labor relationships and needs, including training for contract labor positions
- Evaluate housekeeping equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements
- Assist General Manager in the development and monitoring of the department's annual budget
- Maintain room quality and cleanliness throughout hotel areas including guest rooms, storage, laundry, and public spaces
- Compile and report accurate status of guest rooms to front office
- Oversee all housekeeping duties ensuring productivity and labor cost goals are met
- Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing, linen inventories, and cleaning supplies
- Conduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment
- order and receive supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels
- Ensure quality services meet guest needs and enhance guest relations
- Prepare for audits, evaluate results, and collaborate with management for improvements
- Other duties as assigned
