Known for its innovative approach at the intersection of cannabis, beverage, wellness, and entertainment, Tilray strives to elevate lives through moments of connection. The company operates an extensive portfolio, supporting over 40 diverse brands in more than 20 countries, encompassing a wide range of cannabis products, hemp-based foods, and craft beverages. Tilray's mission is clear: to be a premium lifestyle company that inspires joy, promotes wellness, and creates memorable experiences for its customers worldwide.
Founded with a vision for transformation, Tilray has evolved into a global powerhouse recognized for quality, innovation, and commitment to its craft and community. The company's dedication to wellness and lifestyle trends positions it at the forefront of diverse markets, from cannabis therapeutics to lifestyle beverages, making it an exciting place for professionals passionate about growth and impact.
The role of Executive Head Chef at 10 Barrel Brewing Co, a vibrant part of Tilray’s portfolio, offers a unique opportunity to lead culinary innovation within a dynamic brewpub environment. 10 Barrel Brewing Co started in Bend, Oregon in 2006, founded by three enthusiastic individuals who embraced the philosophy of brewing great beer, enjoying it, and having fun while doing so. The brand has expanded but retained its core culture of celebration, camaraderie, and a laid-back lifestyle centered around exceptional craft beer and food pairing.
This full-time, onsite position based at 10 Barrel Pub in Bend, Oregon, mandates a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven setting. As Executive Head Chef, you will be entrusted with total culinary leadership, overseeing all kitchen operations including full-scale dining, catering, and banquet services. Your role will drive menu innovation, enforce the highest standards of food quality, and manage cost control to ensure profitability and sustainability.
You will be responsible for cultivating a high-performing kitchen team, leading recruitment, training, and development to maintain seamless operations. Collaboration with the broader restaurant management team is essential to guarantee a cohesive workforce across both front and back of house. Managing inventory and procurement efficiently, alongside menu planning that considers guest volume and market trends, will be fundamental in optimizing food usage and minimizing waste. Additionally, maintaining rigorous food safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency standards will be paramount.
Joining Tilray Brands as an Executive Head Chef means becoming part of a dedicated team committed to excellence, innovation, and a culture that values fun and connection. If you are a seasoned culinary professional with demonstrated expertise in kitchen leadership and business acumen, this role offers a compelling blend of creative freedom and strategic responsibility within an exciting industry.
