Job Description
Google is a global technology leader known for its innovative approach to technology, products, and marketing. As a pioneer in the tech industry, Google is renowned for creating tools and platforms that influence various aspects of daily life, professional environments, and global markets. Google Cloud, a division of Google, powers some of the world's most successful companies by offering scalable cloud solutions, advancing enterprise-level technologies, and driving digital transformation across industries. Founded with a mission to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful, Google continues to push the boundaries of technology and creativity.
The Events and Experiences team at Google is dedicated to bringing the brand to life through immersive physical experiences that resonate on a human level. These unique and thoughtfully designed events promote brand loyalty, foster community engagement, and provide memorable experiences for participants that go beyond traditional marketing. Within this dynamic team, the Executive Events and CxO Engagement Team specifically focuses on creating strategic executive-level events that enable meaningful interactions with Chief "X" Officers (CxOs) from global markets. This team plays a crucial role in accelerating Google Cloud’s growth by fostering long-term partnerships with top executives through impactful events and engagement programs.
We are currently seeking a skilled Executive Events Marketing Manager to join this vibrant team. This is a full-time role offering a competitive compensation package ranging from $116,000 to $167,000 USD annually, plus a 15% bonus target, additional bonuses, equity incentives, and comprehensive benefits. The position supports locations including San Francisco, CA; Austin, TX; Kirkland, WA; New York, NY; and Sunnyvale, CA.
The Executive Events Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and operational execution of regional and global audience strategies that align closely with sales targets and executive customer engagement goals. This person will lead audience strategy and guest curation activities across Next executive engagement programs, managing global nomination processes, coordination of invitations, and executive-level registration logistics to ensure the right attendees are present. The manager will work collaboratively with event producers and performance teams, ensuring flawless delivery of experiences that deeply engage C-suite leaders and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has at least four years of experience in events marketing or executive communications, demonstrating a proven track record of organizing large-scale, high-touch events tailored for C-level executives, prioritizing precision and attention to detail. They must excel at managing complex, ambiguous projects with multiple competing deadlines while maintaining flexibility to travel and work non-traditional hours as necessary. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all organizational levels are essential for success in this role.
Google’s commitment to equal opportunity employment and adherence to legal requirements relating to applicants with criminal histories, disabilities, and diverse backgrounds ensures a supportive and inclusive environment. Through this role, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of cutting-edge event marketing efforts that not only elevate Google Cloud’s presence but also help shape the future of enterprise engagement worldwide.
