Additionally, the Executive Director will spearhead the concept development of branded experiences both on and off-site, including at food and music festivals, conferences, and other high-profile events, enriching the brand's visibility and guest engagement.

Candidates must possess outstanding leadership qualities, including excellent judgment, creative problem-solving capabilities, negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset to navigate the competitive hospitality landscape effectively. This role also requires comfort working in an agile environment associated with construction and development, emphasizing adaptability and resilience. Educationally, a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related fields is preferred, alongside a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible marketing experience from either a brand or agency perspective. Experience in the hotel or resort industry is not mandatory but could be advantageous.

Physical requirements include the ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods, lift up to 15 pounds when necessary, and spend extended time working on computer screens. Beyond the role’s strategic importance, VAI Resort offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, company-paid life insurance, paid time off including vacation and holidays, professional development opportunities, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
