Job Description

Highgate Senior Living is a distinguished healthcare company specializing in assisted living and memory care for seniors. With communities spread across the western United States, Highgate focuses on fostering a positive and holistic approach to senior care. They champion the independence of residents, believing that individual autonomy leads to greater happiness and fulfillment. The company treats its residents and team members like family, promoting physical activity, social engagement, intellectual stimulation, spiritual involvement, and fun. Their mission is to help each resident live a life of purpose, offering a supportive environment that prioritizes dignity and respect for seniors and their families. As industry thought leaders, Highgate continually innovates and adapts to the evolving needs of senior care, providing a workplace culture that values employee input and fosters career growth.

We are currently seeking an Executive Director to oversee the implementation of the Highgate brand platform within our communities. This full-time position involves managing the overall operations of the community, including service provision to residents and team members, compliance with state regulations, adherence to organizational policies, and maintaining successful business operations. The Executive Director plays a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for over 700 seniors and their families by leading with passion and strategic vision.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, strategic thinking abilities, and proven experience in senior housing leadership or a similar business model at the executive level. Key responsibilities include building and leading committed teams, ensuring excellent customer service, innovating operational processes, and maintaining compliance with relevant standards. The Executive Director must display excellent communication and critical thinking skills, be adaptable to changing priorities, and demonstrate a track record of fostering loyalty and buy-in among team members.

This role offers a competitive annual base salary range from $80,000 to $120,000, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth. Candidates must be passionate about serving seniors and dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for both residents and staff. Prior experience working with seniors is preferred, and vaccination against COVID-19 is encouraged to ensure the safety of our community. Join Highgate Senior Living and become part of a community—not just a facility—where your efforts will directly impact lives every day.
