As a full-time employer, the company values team members who are passionate about elder care and who are driven to make a positive impact on the lives of residents and their families. The organization fosters a collaborative workplace culture that encourages communication, continuous learning, and personal growth among its employees. This workplace culture is reflected in its various benefits, such as tuition assistance, employee recognition programs, and pension benefits, which underscore the company’s investment in its team members. The senior living community operates in full compliance with State and Federal regulations and adheres to specialized guidelines that govern senior living facilities, including those from Dial Senior Living, which ensures a compliant and well-managed environment for both residents and staff.
The role offered is a rewarding and challenging leadership position ideal for a candidate with experience in management within senior living or related fields. This full-time role emphasizes not only operational management but also team building, marketing, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping seniors and empowerment of team members to live the best life possible. The role involves overseeing the smooth operation of all departments, including ensuring compliance with established policies and legal regulations. The leader will be responsible for recruiting and mentoring a team of department directors, fostering a culture of communication and teamwork among departments to ensure high-quality services and care. Additionally, the role requires a strategic approach to marketing the community by establishing professional relationships within the local area and engaging with prospective residents and their families to promote the community’s services and environment. The successful candidate will manage financial performance, striving to meet or exceed revenue goals, operating income targets, and budget guidelines.
Key priorities include maintaining high satisfaction levels among residents, family members, and team members, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering outstanding quality of care and services. This multifaceted position also involves the necessity for travel on occasion for meetings or continuing education, reflecting the organization’s commitment to ongoing development and adherence to best practices. The successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge of important regulations such as the Fair Housing Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and various employment and labor laws relevant to senior living. Other important knowledge areas include compliance with food-service regulations and aptitude or willingness to manage community computer programs effectively.
