The Culinary Manager position at Topgolf Augusta is a pivotal role within the venue operations team, responsible for supervising and leading the culinary staff to deliver outstanding dining experiences. This full-time position requires someone who can inspire and develop the team, manage food costs and labor within budget, and ensure the consistent quality and presentation of menu items. The Culinary Manager coaches their team to uphold Topgolf's core values while maintaining rigorous health and safety standards in the kitchen environment. This role involves not only overseeing day-to-day food production but also participating in menu development, recipe standardization, and planning special event menus.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of eight years of culinary management experience, coupled with a proven track record in training and developing culinary teams in fast-paced environments. A bachelor’s degree or a related culinary degree is preferred, though extensive management experience may substitute. Candidates should demonstrate resilience and adaptability to thrive in high-demand, high-temperature kitchen settings, maintaining attention to detail and operational excellence throughout long shifts. Physical stamina is essential, as the role requires standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise the team in providing best-in-class culinary experiences
  • coach and develop the team and drive associate engagement
  • delegate tasks and work with your team

  • monitor inventory and purchase product
  • maintain food and labor costs according to budget, with a full understanding of COGS
  • select and develop recipes to corporate approval
  • standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
  • establish presentation technique and maintain quality standards
  • plan and cost menus for special events, chef choice menus
  • ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance
  • oversee safety and sanitation in the kitchen
  • create action plans to respond to opportunities
  • communicate and effectively partner with upper management, Home Office Leadership and vendors
