Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Four-year degree or culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of 4 years culinary management experience in a high-volume environment with focus on barbecue and/or Tex-Mex cuisine
- Expertise in smoking techniques, pit equipment maintenance, butchery skills, and high-volume kitchen management
- Proficient in kitchen sanitation, safety standards, and inspection preparations
- Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and time management skills
- Must lead by example and foster a positive and motivated work environment
- Valid ServSafe certification is a plus
- Must have stamina to work up to 55 hours per week
- Must be able to work in a standing position for up to 10-12 hours
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Lead daily kitchen operations and team performance
- Train and mentor sous chefs and back-of-house staff
- Maintain top-tier quality and consistency of smoked meats
- Oversee inventory, food cost, preparation, sanitation, and safety standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience
