This ethos drives the company’s success and fuels its commitment to excellence across all levels.
Schulte Hospitality Group is part of Schulte Companies, a leading third-party management firm with extensive experience spanning multiple generations in every facet of the hospitality industry. Operating more than 200 locations across 38 states and 3 countries, the group boasts a diverse portfolio that includes prestigious brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt. Alongside these major global brands, the group manages numerous independent, boutique, and lifestyle properties and restaurants, showcasing a wide range of hospitality experiences.
The Executive Chef role at Woodcliff Hotel is critical to maintaining the highest quality culinary standards and ensuring outstanding guest experiences. This is a leadership position that involves comprehensive oversight of kitchen operations, including long- and short-term planning as well as daily management of culinary departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing associates and kitchen managers, supporting their growth and development, and maintaining a safe and inspiring work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
In this role, the Executive Chef will plan and manage the procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of all food served at the hotel, ensuring safety, sanitation, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining superior quality. Continuous monitoring and control of kitchen maintenance and sanitation practices will be vital to meet or exceed federal, state, corporate, and franchise regulations and standards. Budget management is another important responsibility; the Executive Chef will develop, recommend, and oversee the department’s budget, monitor labor and food costs, and implement strategies to improve revenue and profit margins.
Menu development is a key aspect of this position, incorporating corporate guidelines while leveraging training, production lists, and historical data to optimize culinary offerings. The Executive Chef will also lead initiatives to promote safety through accident prevention programs, minimizing liabilities and maintaining compliance.
At Schulte Hospitality Group, the employee experience is paramount. Joining this team means becoming part of an inclusive and employee-focused environment dedicated to your professional growth and career advancement. The group offers a fun, flexible workplace with exciting perks and a robust benefits package designed to support employee well-being. Among the standout benefits are daily pay options, telemedicine and virtual mental health care access starting on day one, multiple health and life insurance plans, a 401k plan with company match, paid parental leave, paid time off, holiday pay, pet insurance, an employee assistance program, and substantial employee savings discounts.
Overall, this Executive Chef position offers an excellent opportunity for culinary leaders who are passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a respected, forward-thinking company. With a strong commitment to both guest satisfaction and employee development, Woodcliff Hotel and Schulte Hospitality Group provide an ideal environment to advance one’s career in the dynamic hospitality industry.
