Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is a world-renowned luxury hotel chain that operates a remarkable network of 90 spectacular properties across 30 countries, with an additional 34 properties in the pipeline. Known for delivering exceptional experiences from the beaches of Hawaii to the national parks of Canada, the urban vibrancy of London, and the deserts of the United Arab Emirates, Fairmont is a symbol of hospitality excellence globally.

Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park stands as a distinguished landmark that rises elegantly above Chicago's Millennium Park and lakefront. This property is a leader in Food & Beverage within the city, featuring extraordinary amenities including the recently renovated guestrooms and the exclusive Fairmont Gold Lounge. Additionally, it boasts luxury event spaces and seasonal pop-ups, offering guests a unique blend of comfort and sophistication.

Among its exceptional offerings, the hotel proudly presents Toro by Richard Sandoval, a vibrant pan-Latin restaurant and tequila bar that enriches Chicago's culinary scene. Toro brings authentic Latin American culinary traditions to life through its small plate menu, Suviche bar (a sushi and ceviche combination), and an energetic rum bar. The drink program showcases expertly curated cocktails, Latin wines, and a variety of sugarcane spirits, elevating the dining experience.

The Executive Chef role at Toro is a pivotal leadership position responsible for guiding the culinary vision and operations of this highly anticipated establishment. This role requires a culinary maestro who can orchestrate a symphony of flavors and experiences while maintaining impeccable standards that align with Fairmont's luxury culture. The Executive Chef will lead the culinary team, develop innovative recipes, manage inventory, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and foster positive guest relations. This position offers an annual salary range of $95,000 to $110,000.

This career opportunity invites individuals passionate about Latin cuisine and culinary leadership to join a dynamic and inclusive company committed to hospitality excellence and cultural celebration. Applicants are invited to engage with the company's structured application process designed to align candidates with the Fairmont’s standards of luxury excellence. The company emphasizes values such as respect, excellence, belonging, empowerment, and integrity and promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Applying for this role means committing to a fast-paced, creative, and guest-focused environment where your culinary expertise will enrich the cultural tapestry of Chicago's dining scene.
