Job Requirements
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum two years of culinary leadership experience
- Previous management experience in a high-volume or banquet kitchen
- Experience working under collective bargaining agreements preferred
- Ability to maintain health and safety standards
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must comply with all company training and compliance requirements
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of relevant culinary experience as a chef
- Experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred
- Experience working in banquet, high-volume, luxury, or fine-dining restaurant settings preferred
- Bilingual abilities with English as primary or secondary language preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage products, menu development, and kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Owns and leads daily kitchen operations including fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, and guest service standards
- Represents kitchens in divisional, property, and corporate meetings
- Executes policies, operating procedures, pricing initiatives, training programs, menus, rules, and regulations for kitchen staff
- Maintains highest health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in all kitchen areas
- Manages human resources responsibilities including creating a positive work environment, performance feedback, recognition, training, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Interacts with guests to ensure satisfaction and product quality while addressing complaints appropriately
- Collaborates with divisional directors, executive chefs, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless product delivery and quality
