The role of Senior Executive Chef within Eurest’s Corporate Dining segment in Charlotte, NC, offers a dynamic career opportunity with an annual salary range of $95,000 to $115,000. This role is a leadership position responsible for overseeing culinary operations in corporate dining facilities, including retail food outlets, board meals, dining services, and catering operations. As a Senior Executive Chef, you will lead menu development, manage inventory and purchasing, and control food costs while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. You will also play a critical role in staff recruitment, development, and motivational leadership to support a high-performing culinary team.

This position demands a culinary leader who can develop and maintain high culinary standards reflective of the latest food trends while prioritizing health, wellness, and sustainability. You will be expected to lead corporate social responsibility initiatives on your site, incorporating food seasonality and superior culinary arts practices. Job Requirements

  • culinary degree preferred
  • bachelor's degree in food services technology, management or related field preferred
  • three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience depending upon formal degree or training
  • experience with planning and managing catering events from a culinary perspective
  • strong leadership skills and desire to work with an industry leader
  • comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • proficient computer skills, including microsoft office, email and internet
  • ability to communicate on various levels including management, departmental, customer and associate
  • servsafe certification
