The Executive Chef role at Methwick Community is a pivotal position that combines culinary artistry with leadership and operational management. This position requires a hands-on approach to overseeing upscale food production within a senior living facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fine dining or hotel and restaurant kitchens with a scratch kitchen background, showcasing an ability to craft eclectic and sophisticated menus. The Executive Chef will be responsible for creating an environment that fosters culinary innovation, quality, and adherence to the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
In this role, the Executive Chef will manage purchasing, inventory control, food cost analysis, and production forecasting to ensure menu compliance and budget adherence. They will uphold Sodexo Culinary standards by enforcing recipe compliance and guaranteeing consistency and excellence in food quality. Motivating and developing team members to embrace culinary creativity and innovation is a core focus, as is maintaining thorough knowledge of automated food inventory and management systems. Job Requirements

- minimum management experience - 2 years
- minimum functional experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
