Frontier Senior Living is currently seeking an Executive Chef to join the Grand Montecito Memory Care community located in Las Vegas, NV. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $65,000 per year and includes eligibility for performance-based bonus programs. As an Executive Chef, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, customer service, and operational productivity within the Food Services Department. You will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring that all meals meet both the residents' preferences and specific dietary requirements, especially tailored for those with specialized nutritional needs.
In this leadership role, the Executive Chef will recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team of kitchen and dining staff, fostering a positive work environment that prioritizes teamwork, communication, and efficient food service. The role requires maintaining compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations at the local, state, and federal levels, including OSHA standards. Additionally, you will manage food and supply inventories, coordinate staffing schedules, and operate within established budget guidelines to optimize costs without compromising quality.

Job Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Four years or more supervisory experience in food service
- Training in resident care, nutritional assessment, food production and sanitation
- Effective English communication skills
- Must hold chef certification
- Compassion for elderly
- Self-motivated work ethic
Job Qualifications

- Formal or on-the-job training in nutrition, food production, sanitation, safety, and management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a certified chef
- Compassion and understanding for elderly residents
- Demonstrated leadership in a senior living or similar environment
Job Duties
- Innovate, plan, promote, and supervise a food service program that meets or exceeds standards of quality and productivity
- Recruit, hire, train, discipline and supervise a full complement of staff
- Establish, document, direct and assist in kitchen and dining room sanitation procedures
- Prepare schedules for all shifts for kitchen and dining room staff
- Comply with all state, local, and federal regulations related to health, safety, and Food Services operations
- Manage food and supplies inventory and budget adherence
- Other duties as assigned
