Recognized for its commitment to creating spectacular worlds that inspire and connect, Caesars fosters an environment where people can enjoy moments of fun, excitement, and memorable service. Their corporate mission, 'Create the Extraordinary,' and vision to craft immersive experiences define their brand identity and operational philosophy. The company’s values of 'Blaze the Trail, Together We Win, All-In on Service,' emphasize teamwork, innovation, and a strong customer-centric approach, making it an exciting place to work. The People Planet Play framework further underscores Caesars Entertainment’s dedication to social responsibility, economic development, and community wellbeing.
Caesars Entertainment is currently seeking a supervisory culinary professional to join the prestigious Gordon Ramsay Steak team. This role supervises all culinary activities of the restaurant, including scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring a high-quality product is served promptly. The position involves completing essential administrative paperwork and maintaining a smooth and organized kitchen environment. The supervisory chef will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, conducting performance reviews, recommending promotions and wage increases, and addressing employee concerns. Though primarily a leadership role, the candidate will also act as a hands-on chef during peak meal periods, working alongside the culinary team. The culinary leadership team comprises positions such as Chef Tournant, Sous Chef, Cooks, and Master Cooks, all under this position’s direct supervision.
The approximate salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000 per year, complemented by best-in-class benefits starting from day one. These benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, a 401K with employer matching, student debt repayment options, and educational assistance. Gordon Ramsay Steak operates Wednesday through Sunday for dinner service, and this supervisory position typically has Mondays and Tuesdays off except during special events. This role is eligible for the property manager bonus program, providing further financial incentives tied to property performance. The culinary supervisor will play a vital role in upholding Caesars Entertainment's reputation for excellence in dining by leading a skilled team through operational standards, training programs, and compliance initiatives.
The job demands extensive knowledge of food and beverage products, the ability to manage payroll and food costs, plus capabilities in menu planning, pricing, and portion control. The candidate must ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and operational regulations, while promoting a positive and supportive workplace culture. The role requires the ability to work under intense conditions, including heat from kitchen equipment and the physical demands of standing, lifting, and maneuvering heavy food supplies. Candidates with a minimum of a Culinary Arts degree or equivalent and substantial leadership experience, particularly as a Sous Chef, are highly desired. Overall, this position offers a unique opportunity to be part of Caesars Entertainment’s commitment to culinary innovation, superior service, and a dynamic work environment.
