We are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team and lead our culinary operations while driving the financial performance of our kitchen operations. This full-time role involves significant responsibility, including ownership of the annual budget creation, forecasting, and cost control initiatives, aiming to meet and exceed the unit's operating financial goals. The position requires an individual who is not only skilled in managing food and beverage operations but who can also provide strong leadership and ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards. The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee departmental requisitioning, production, and fabrication processes, ensuring that all practices uphold the highest quality standards in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Equipment and kitchen maintenance will be pivotal in the role, with a focus on maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment that aligns with Department of Health, OSHA, and company-specific regulations.
The manager will collaborate closely with the broader management team to verify all products meet internal specifications and cost control goals. Leadership in enforcing Food & Beverage Director initiatives and aligning kitchen operations with financial strategies will be key aspects of the position. The successful candidate must bring extensive food and beverage experience, ideally with a background in both high-volume and fine dining environments, as well as proficiency in managing profit and loss responsibilities. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of food knowledge areas such as menu planning, budgeting, training, inventory control, sanitation, and cost control are essential to thrive in this role. The candidate's expertise should also extend to a wide variety of kitchen functions, including butchering, baking, soup and stock preparation, sauces, roasting, sautéing, boiling, and cold food preparation, reflecting the versatility necessary to support diverse culinary operations effectively.
