Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef
  • Strong culinary skills in high-volume settings
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong labor and food cost management capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and operational leadership
  • Experience in recruiting and developing culinary staff
  • Strong communication and leadership competencies
  • Experience in casino or large hospitality environments preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef overseeing complex or multi-unit culinary operations
  • Strong culinary fundamentals with experience in high-volume environments
  • Demonstrated multitasking and organizational skills
  • Strong administrative and financial abilities including labor management and food cost control
  • Excellent kitchen organization and operational leadership
  • Experience hiring, developing, and leading culinary teams
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Casino, hotel, resort, or large-scale hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all culinary operations across the property
  • Rebuild, mentor, and lead a diverse culinary team focusing on accountability, engagement, and development
  • Ensure consistent execution of quality, presentation, and food standards
  • Oversee menu development, recipe standardization, and seasonal updates
  • Manage labor planning, scheduling, and productivity while maintaining budget controls
  • Maintain strong administrative oversight including food cost, inventory, purchasing, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health department, and company standards
  • Establish strong kitchen organization systems, workflows, and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership, HR, Facilities, and Engineering teams
  • Support banquet and special event culinary execution as needed
  • Promote a solutions-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement
