Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as executive chef or head cook in a high-volume upscale or resort restaurant
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • proven success as head of kitchen operations in a high-volume upscale restaurant or high-end resort restaurant
  • strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and service
  • proven ability to develop team
  • knowledge of systems, methods, and processes that contribute to great execution
  • stable job history with upward career progression

Job Duties

  • lead a team of culinary professionals to deliver high-quality food
  • ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
  • manage kitchen operations for profitability
  • contribute to building top line sales and guest count
  • support culinary development team to execute menu items with excellence
  • develop and mentor culinary team members
  • maintain knowledge of culinary systems, methods, and processes
