Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary education preferred
- Minimum 5 years of executive chef or senior culinary leadership experience
- Proven experience managing high-volume upscale or fine dining kitchen operations
- Ability to lead and develop teams effectively
- Strong financial management skills including food and labor cost control
- Capacity to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Experience in restaurant openings preferred
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of executive chef or senior culinary leadership experience
- Experience leading high-volume upscale, polished casual, or fine dining kitchens
- Mexican or Latin-inspired culinary experience preferred but not required
- Proven success developing culinary teams and building strong kitchen culture
- Strong financial acumen with food and labor cost management experience
- Opening experience highly preferred
- Passionate, hands-on leadership style with strong communication skills
Job Duties
- Direct all culinary and kitchen operations for a high-volume upscale restaurant
- Partner on menu execution and culinary development with inspiration rooted in elevated Mexican flavors
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing BOH team
- Establish systems for consistency, quality control, and operational efficiency
- Manage food cost, labor, purchasing, inventory, and kitchen financial performance
- Partner with ownership and leadership on menu strategy and guest experience initiatives
- Maintain excellence in sanitation, safety, and overall kitchen standards
- Support opening timelines, team onboarding, and long-term operational success
