Job Description

This full-time management role is focused on overseeing the comprehensive kitchen and front-of-house beverage operations for the restaurant and pool at the West Palm Beach property. Reporting under the Food and Beverage and Culinary category, the position commands a strong leadership presence to ensure the smooth functioning and financial success of all food service areas. The annual pay range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000, inclusive of bonus eligibility. The successful candidate will be accountable for the overall success of daily kitchen operations, demonstrating culinary expertise and leading the team to deliver consistent, high-quality food and exceptional guest satisfaction.
In this role, the individual will supervise multiple kitchen areas including banquets, room service, restaurants, bar/lounge, and the employee cafeteria as well as managing all support areas like the dish room and purchasing. They will be responsible for staff development, maintaining sanitation and food safety standards, and ensuring that guest service expectations are met or exceeded. By embodying integrity, excellent communication, and sound business decision-making, the manager will foster a positive, cooperative work environment that encourages collaboration and mutual respect. The individual will also set performance goals, monitor expenditures, and participate in budgeting processes to optimize financial performance across culinary operations.
The role requires strategic menu development, quality control of all food products, creative food presentation, and adherence to strict food handling and sanitation protocols. Exceptional customer service is a priority, with the manager providing leadership in hospitality, coaching staff on guest interactions, and responding to customer feedback to continuously improve the dining experience. Additionally, the manager handles human resource functions including employee coaching, training, performance appraisals, and disciplinary procedures in alignment with established policies.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 years relevant culinary or food and beverage experience
- Or 2-year degree in culinary arts, hotel and restaurant management, or related field
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience if degree obtained
- Proven leadership in kitchen management
- Strong ability to oversee multiple food service areas
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop menus and control food costs
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service
- Willingness to work full time and in person at West Palm Beach location
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Experience with budgeting and financial management
