Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 70% to national food events
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of culinary trends
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of food service operations

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 7+ years work experience in food service distribution, food manufacturing, or facilities management including training, menu development, or culinary operations
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary trends and cooking techniques
  • Ability to interact effectively with customer culinary staff and senior management
  • Good knowledge of food service operations and operators

Job Duties

  • Conduct routine visits and sales calls to key customer accounts
  • Identify new product and service opportunities
  • Provide culinary technical support
  • Provide culinary leadership at regional and national food shows or special events
  • Support field training including product knowledge, menu applications, concept selling, cooking and serving instructions, food styling and plate presentation
  • Develop recipes and product applications for various media to promote products
  • Generate reports analyzing target restaurant menus and operations
  • Develop culinary prototypes for product innovation
  • Provide leadership and insights on customer culinary needs and competitors' products
  • Develop culinary samples and gold standard specifications
  • Collaborate closely with R&D team
