The Executive Chef position at Aramark is a critical management role within the culinary team, responsible for overseeing chef managers as well as hourly culinary staff. This role is focused on developing and executing culinary solutions that meet a variety of customer and client needs and tastes. The Executive Chef manages culinary operations to ensure production, presentation, and service standards exceed expectations while maintaining food quality, safety, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The role entails applying advanced culinary techniques to food preparation and managing the final presentation and service of food items. The Executive Chef ensures that culinary production adheres to Aramark's Executional Framework and Food Framework, promoting consistency and excellence across all culinary outputs. This position is also responsible for cultivating a motivated culinary team by coaching, rewarding, and recognizing employees, maintaining staff records, and conducting team meetings and daily huddles.

A vital part of the Executive Chef's responsibilities is to maintain effective relationships with clients and guests, understanding culinary and ingredient trends, and focusing on margin improvement through careful management of food and labor targets. The Executive Chef must understand the end-to-end supply chain and procurement systems, ensuring compliance with approved suppliers and operational excellence fundamentals such as waste management and adherence to standard recipes and menus.

This leadership role requires strong communication skills, including oral, written, and reading proficiency. The successful candidate will bring at least four years of culinary experience, including managerial experience, and be equipped with a culinary degree or equivalent expertise.

Job Duties
