The Executive Chef role at Eurest in Irvine, CA, is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing kitchen operations to ensure the delivery of exceptional dining experiences. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 and features a work schedule Monday through Friday focused mainly on breakfast and lunch service, with occasional late catering and happy hours. The Executive Chef will lead a team in preparing meals in accordance with corporate programs and guidelines while maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • five plus years of culinary or kitchen management experience
  • extensive catering experience required
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible schedule including occasional late hours
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and email
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • ability to comply with health and safety standards
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties
  • willingness to participate in training and development programs

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • five plus years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • extensive catering experience
  • experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • hands-on chef experience in corporate or fine dining
  • comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email and internet
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs

Job Duties
