We are currently seeking an Executive Chef to join our team immediately. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the health and well-being of others through superior foodservice management. The role requires overseeing kitchen operations and directing the preparation of meals according to corporate programs and guidelines. The Executive Chef will plan regular and modified menus, train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety, maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules, manage inventory of supplies, ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations, and perform additional duties as assigned.
This role is ideal for a culinary professional with three to five years of progressive kitchen management experience who has a comprehensive knowledge of food trends, quality standards, production, sanitation, and food cost control. The Executive Chef uses culinary expertise and leadership skills to foster a high-performing kitchen team committed to delivering excellent meals in a health care setting. Candidates with extensive catering experience, high-volume food service operation experience, and ServSafe certification are highly desirable. Experience in using Microsoft Office suite and related technology is also important for managing operational tasks efficiently.

Job Requirements
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- Three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
- Experience with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Email, and Internet
- Ability to train and lead kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Compliance with health and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- Three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Experienced with computers including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Email, and the Internet
- Extensive catering experience is a plus
- High volume, complex foodservice operations experience is highly desirable
- ServSafe certified is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Plan regular and modified menus according to established guidelines
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, and operation of equipment
- Train staff in food safety and sanitation based on company and regulatory standards
- Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas
- Maintain inventory of food and non-food supplies to stay within established guidelines
- Assure necessary product is available when needed
- Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
