This job opportunity is for an Executive Chef position at a 100-bed hospital located in the Atlanta market. The position offers a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 annually, with a five-day work week, alternating weekends, and includes a matching 401K plan. The Executive Chef will have full responsibility for overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing food quality, patient dining services, retail and café operations, catering, food safety protocols, inventory control, and team development. This hands-on leadership role requires a culinary leader who can foster a positive kitchen culture, ensure high standards of food preparation, and consistently deliver an exceptional dining experience to patients, staff, and visitors. Job Requirements
- culinary degree or equivalent experience
- minimum of 3 years culinary leadership experience
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation
- proven ability to manage kitchen operations and teams
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to work a 5-day work week including alternating weekends
- servsafe certification preferred
