The Executive Chef II position in Mount Holly, NJ, offers a rewarding opportunity for an energetic and entrepreneurial culinary professional to join a respected and innovative company. The role pays between $85,000 and $90,000 per year and is categorized under pay grade 13. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations to ensure a safe, sanitary, and efficient working environment compliant with corporate standards. Responsibilities include directing meal preparation in accordance with company programs and guidelines, as well as establishing and maintaining kitchen schedules, inventory control, and quality controls. This position demands a leader capable of training kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling procedures, equipment operation, and sanitation requirements. The Executive Chef will also ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations and lead efforts in maintaining cleaning and maintenance routines for kitchen equipment and work areas.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience, with hands-on chef expertise highly valued. Prior experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations, catering, and institutional cooking will be advantageous. Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to A.S. degree or relevant experience
- three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience

Job Duties
- Plan regular and modified menus according to established guidelines
- follow standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards
- complete and utilize daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- taste completed meals to ensure quality
- train kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, operation of equipment, food safety and sanitation
- establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage and work areas
- maintain inventory of food and non-food supplies to stay within established guidelines while assuring necessary product availability
- make decisions regarding utilization of leftover food products
- comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations
- follow facility, department, and company safety policies and procedures
- participate and attend departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs
