We are currently hiring an Executive Chef to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and entrepreneurial culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As an Executive Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality, safety, and sanitation. Your role will involve managing the daily production of meals, planning menus according to established corporate guidelines, and training kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and food safety protocols. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, along with a passion for culinary excellence. You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations and ensuring that all kitchen activities run smoothly and efficiently.
This role demands someone with hands-on chef experience who is familiar with managing complex foodservice operations and has a comprehensive knowledge of food trends, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation. Preferred candidates will have between three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience, formal culinary training or an associate degree, and a proactive approach to team development and kitchen innovation. Additionally, computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and email communication, is essential to support the operational and administrative duties associated with this position. Our ideal Executive Chef will be ServSafe certified or willing to obtain certification to align with our commitment to food safety and quality.
At Morrison Healthcare, we offer both full-time and part-time employment opportunities, bringing flexibility for various lifestyles. Benefits for our team members include retirement plans, health and wellness programs, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, and a range of voluntary benefits like pet insurance, critical illness and accident insurance, and legal services. We are committed to equal opportunity employment and are dedicated to creating a workplace where diversity and inclusion are valued and celebrated. Our team benefits from a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development across our nationwide health systems network.
Join us at Morrison Healthcare and help create moments that truly matter through impactful culinary leadership and outstanding service. Together, we will nourish, care for, and inspire our communities with every meal served, building a healthier future for all those we serve.
