Known for fostering a fun work environment and embracing a culture of excellence, Morrison Living stands out as a vibrant employer that values teamwork, culinary innovation, and superior service. Their commitment to quality and passion for hospitality have earned them a reputable position in the industry, making them a top employer for culinary professionals seeking meaningful and rewarding careers.

Located in Orchard Park, NY, Morrison Living is actively expanding its team and is currently seeking an Executive Chef to lead their culinary operations. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 per year, reflecting the company’s recognition of the critical role that leadership in the kitchen plays in their overall success. The Executive Chef position embodies a leadership role that balances creative culinary responsibilities with strong operational and business acumen. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about crafting high-quality meals and providing a show-quality food experience while ensuring the smooth running of all kitchen activities.

This means not only overseeing menu design, food preparation, and presentation but also driving key business metrics including food and labor cost management, compliance with safety standards, and fostering resident and employee satisfaction. The role demands an inspirational leader who thrives on developing, training, and motivating kitchen staff to excel in their roles, ensuring high performance and efficiency. Additionally, the Executive Chef will be deeply involved in aspects such as sourcing fresh ingredients, maintaining consistent product quality, and implementing innovative cooking techniques that elevate the dining experience. Leadership extends beyond the kitchen – the Executive Chef is integral in crafting business strategies aligned with the overall mission of Morrison Living and the client’s needs, thus contributing to the financial health and growth of the operation.

Customer service excellence is a cornerstone of this role. The Executive Chef will ensure that the culinary team provides impeccable service to the residents, promoting a warm, friendly, and professional dining atmosphere. This includes setting clear performance standards and engaging in proactive communication to address guest feedback and enhance satisfaction continuously. In addition to managing operational and financial aspects, the Executive Chef plays a crucial role in team building and fostering a positive work environment where employees feel supported, valued, and equipped to offer their best work. Regular staff meetings, ongoing training, and an open-door policy for feedback are standard practices that ensure team cohesion and high morale.

Morrison Living offers a robust benefits package designed to support both full-time and part-time associates. Among the benefits are a retirement plan, associate shopping program, health and wellness programs, identity theft protection, and voluntary critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance options. Full-time employees also gain access to medical, dental, vision coverage, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, employee assistance programs, and flexible spending accounts. The company prioritizes a drug-free workplace and maintains inclusive equal opportunity employment principles. With ongoing application acceptance and a commitment to employee growth and satisfaction, Morrison Living provides a stable, rewarding career path for qualified culinary professionals eager to make a real difference in the hospitality industry.
